Potty training woes

So these past couple weeks have been crazy! Jaxon is always so happy and laughs at every little thing. He loves to stand up and if there is something close by he can pull himself up by using... he tries. He stands on the outside of the megasaucer pretty well and I am pretty sure my hopes of him waiting longer than Savannah did to walk at 9 months, are going away.

This past weekend was General Conference, which means we had church at home watching the worldwide broadcast from our church leaders. Since we were home, Noah and I thought this would be a good time to try a little pushing on potty training. It did not go well! Savannah really doesn't mind wetting herself at all, which is not very helpful. She loves her panties, loves to wipe, flush, etc.., but the actual act of going on the potty is something she does not care about. The thought of not buying diapers for two kids sounds so nice, but we will just have to wait. After going through 5 pairs of pants a day for 4 days and our house smelling like pee, we gave up. Hopefully she will soon have the desire to do it, especially since she is already telling us she has to before she does. I just wish when we set her on the potty she would go, instead of waiting until right after she gets off.

By the way, while writing this post Savannah and Jaxon were watching Toy Story 2 and Savannah was eating an oreo. I guess she decided to share because this is what I found.
