A Must See!

So last Saturday night, Noah and I got a sitter and at 9:30pm we sat ourselves down for almost 3 hours of Avatar 3d Imax. Noah saw it about a month ago with my friend Amy's husband and told me I needed to see it so we arranged for a sitter, bought front row balcony seats and though I was super nervous about leaving Jaxon and Savannah, I LOVED IT!! I wish I could go see it again right now. You would think that a 3 hour movie, wearing glasses and looking at a screen that big would be a bit overwhelming, but it was fabulous. I recommend everyone go see it and the Imax ticket price is well worth it. I thought I could just wait to see it on video, but I am so happy Noah convinced me to see it on the very big screen. The special effects and technology is amazing and the story is really good. I am happy there will be a sequel! I just wish I could go see it again :)

Had to share!

So I just got back from the gym. While there I was on a bike and the lady next to me was on a treadmill running, while eating a bag of m&ms. So I guess the hole in the bag was not wide enough because as she was opening them more the bag split open and the m&ms hit the treadmill and shot of the back. It was fabulous! This was probably the highlight of my day :)

I can't watch the news anymore

Every time I turn on the tv I can't help but see all the footage about Haiti and I cry. I know I used to not be a super emotional person, but having kids ended that. I'm the kind of person that cries during all the sappy Oprah shows, and pretty much anything involving children. I love my babies and I have the hardest time knowing there are kids out there who don't have homes and love. I know we don't have much right now, but one thing we have in our home is lots and lots of love and when I see the little orphan kids on the news it makes me so sad. I wish we were stable enough financially to adopt a baby from Haiti... or really anywhere. Someday it will happen. I know its a long time away, but someday I know we will do our very best to help as many kids as we can. I look forward to sharing our home and love to more children someday.

4 MONTHS!

My Little Boy is growing up so fast! On Friday I took him to his 4 month well check up and he is growing right on track. I read the height paper wrong but after a second look, here are the stats:

Length: 24.75 inches - 45.62%tile

Weight: 14lbs 14 oz - 51.61%tile

Head Circumference: 16.6 inches - 48.5%tile

We got the go ahead from the Dr to let Jaxon try Rice Cereal. We wanted to wait longer, but considering Jaxon screams every time I have tried to nurse him since Christmas and my milk supply is not the best, we thought he could benefit from it. I'm having major issues with uploading the video on here, but it was very cute watching Jaxon make crazy facial expressions while we he tried the cereal and while Savannah tried to feed it to him.

Right now Jaxon is constantly changing. He loves looking around, cooing, playing with his toes, trying to hold his own bottle, standing up with a little support and is so close to sitting up. He is drooling all the time and we think teeth are coming soon. He gives the cutest little smiles and is a lot more loving, but also more sensitive than Savannah was. He loves his sister and watches her all the time. I have a feeling the two of them are going to be pretty good friends.

I know this year is going to be great!

I know I shouldn't be so confident about this (because you never know what can happen), but I know this year is going to be wonderful! I know this because of 3 specific reasons.

1. Noah - I swear he really is my better half! He is such a great dad and husband. He does the dishes and takes out the trash without fail, listens to all my little rants, picks up the toys every night, loves to take care of us, tells me he loves me at least 15 times a day, and loves to be with his kids! He gets more smiles from Jaxon than anyone else and Savannah has pretend talks with him on the phone all the time, because she loves him so much.

2. Savannah- She makes me smile everyday. She is talking more and more and learning to do more things by herself. She is such a goof ball and drama queen all wrapped into a sweet little girl. She is a great big sister and I know this year is going to be wonderful as she learns so much! I'm looking forward to more Little Gym, playing in the snow, summer days in the water, seeing her in ballet later this year, and watching her become an even better big sister than she already is!

3. Jaxon- My little mommy's boy makes my heart melt every day. He is already getting so big and had his first little haircut a couple days ago. He eats like crazy and has a little mind of his own, but I am so excited to get to know him better and see him grow so much this year! He has already rolled over, babbles all the time, and even laughed for the first time when my dad was playing with him last night. I am so excited for all there is still to come this year. I can see his first 2 teeth about to cut through, he is so close to sitting up, and he gets to try rice cereal in a couple weeks. I know it wont be long until he is crawling, talking, walking, and all the other milestones that come in the first year. We are so lucky to have our sweet boy and I am so excited for this amazing time in his life.
