I just realized it's been about 2 weeks since I posted on here. Jaxon was sick all of last week with an awful virus (according to the Dr). He had really high fevers and lots of tummy issues for the entire week. Luckily it went away on Monday. We spent a lot of time inside while he was sick. Jaxon was happy as long as he had Cars to play with and Savannah did a lot of laps on her new scooter. 
We had a fun 4th of July with our family. We didn't do anything special, but I had a good time with my kids and hubby. We went to the grocery store, had dinner, rented movies and watched fireworks. I had a fun little conversation with Savannah about why we celebrate July 4th. She was very excited to know it was America's Birthday!We have mixed emotions about the hot weather. We have no air conditioning in this house and it gets very hot! At this point I have to tell myself every day that we wont be here forever and it's only a couple months of summer. We get outside to play when the kids are both happy and up for it. We have a big fenced backyard and the kids love wandering around and playing in the blow up pool. Of course there always are Popsicles. 
We have also been going to the YMCA pool when Noah gets off work. The kids are loving it and I am amazed at how much Jaxon has started to love water. He would cling onto me with a death grip but now he loves the slide, splashing, and gets irritated that I have to hold him still in deeper water. Both kids are starting swim classes next week. Savannah will be going to actual lessons and Jaxon and I will be going to a water babies class. I am excited to see how they do... and to get myself a better tan.
